Farzaneh Savoji joined NMS Consulting, Inc. in 2019 as a Partner and head of the firm’s Tax Advisory Group where she advises clients on tax reporting and compliance, transaction planning, model assessments, due diligence, resolution and governance. Farzaneh Savoji, who is also a seasoned tax attorney, has represented taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board and Board of Equalization in matters of income, corporate and sales taxes. Ms. Savoji previously directed a pro bono tax clinic at Pacific Asian Consortium of Employment, guiding low-income taxpayers with their tax matters.

As an attorney, Ms. Savoji has also advised businesses and non-profit organizations on entity structures and corporate governance appropriate for their mission and size. She has also advised clients on matters related to tax planning for business formation, adoption of bylaws, and plan of liquidation. In addition, she has advised clients on general corporate and transactional tax planning, tax controversy, tax resolution, blockchain technology and digital currency matters including providing tailor-made business agreements including operating agreements, redemption agreements, buy-sell agreements and security agreements, amongst others and served as general corporate counsel.

Ms. Savoji received her LL.M in Taxation from Loyola Law School, Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law and Bachelor’s degree from University of California, Los Angeles.
