Jim Tomaszewski has over 25 years of consulting experience in the Appliance and Consumer Products industries. His most recent position was President, Midea Americas Corporation, the North American division of Midea, the largest appliance manufacturer in the world based in China.  In that role, Jim was responsible for setting short term targets and long-term strategies across all functions of the business including Brand, Market, Operations, Sales and Service, and had complete P&L ownership.  As leader of the Americas division, Jim was also involved in Merger and Acquisition activities in North America including due diligence, justification analysis, and acting as the point person for the external investment community and internal cross functional teams to develop deals.

Prior to his position with Midea, Jim held a variety of executive leadership positions with GE Appliances.  Over his tenure with GE, Jim developed a broad background working with customers and suppliers in manufacturing, engineering, quality, product management, marketing and sales across North America, Europe and Asia.

Jim brings many experiences and best practices to consulting including vast Appliance industry knowledge, M&A processes, product development, organizational design, market and brand development, supply chain management, after sales service and strategic planning.  Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, is a graduate of GE’s two-year Management Development Program, and has completed several executive level programs at GE, MIT and Harvard.  He is certified in Six Sigma as a Master Black Belt.
