NMS Consulting Appoints James Synder as Managing Director
NMS Consulting, Inc. (“NMSC”) announced today that it has appointed Mr. James D. Snyder as a Managing Director within the Management Consulting and Corporate Advisory practices at the firm.
James D. Snyder is an experienced licensed attorney in the State of California and has a broad high-tech business transactions practice. He has years of experience in law firms and as in-house General Counsel for technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego. Mr. Snyder’s clients span many industries including IoT, life sciences, supply chain, financial services, and SaaS. Having spent years as in-house General Counsel with technology and software companies, Mr. Snyder has a unique ability to focus on critical items for his client’s businesses. In spending years representing data analytics, software and SaaS companies, Mr. Snyder has been at the forefront of data privacy and security challenges and uses this unique skill set to set his client’s apart from their competition.
Mr. Snyder has extensive experience ensuring his clients are General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant with respect to the European Union, and he is well versed in California’s new privacy regime, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Mr. Snyder is well versed in HIPAA for clients with health data and the Gramm Leach Bliley Act due to his financial services clients. Mr. Snyder also has extensive Mergers and Acquisitions and Financing experience, both as in-house General Counsel and as outside counsel in law firms. Mr. Snyder has represented companies around the world, bringing US companies into India, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Brazil and throughout Europe. Mr. Snyder holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law.
